Leif Ove Andsnes:

Piano fingers with ease. At home with the virtuoso for an interview with Bergensmagasinet before the tour.	Andsnes is a big fan of Chopin. Here, in his attic in Bergen, Norway, he rehearses at his own piano for a performance of some of the great composer's work at the Chopin Festival 2018 in Warsaw, Poland.

	Rehearsing with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and chief conductor Edward Gardner for the evening's performance at the architectural wonder that is the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, August 2018. The Bergen Philharmonic are the first Nordic Orchestra to ever perform at this stunning and much sought after concert venue for both musicians and audiences.


With Gardner arriving hours late from London due to one of the plane's engines catching fire, there is little time left before the concert. Musicians are on the edge of their seats hoping to complete a good rehearsal, at a speed that could rival The Flight Of The Bumblebee!
